The IADD prides itself on an active membership however, there are over 1,000 drainage districts in Illinois.  We need the support and participation of all drainage districts, regardless of size, in order to be effective against our opposition. There is strength in numbers!  Our determination and willingness to preserve the integrity of drainage districts must prevail. All members will receive the quarterly IADD newsletter that includes information on current drainage issues, invitations to our regional educational opportunities and a discounted rate to attend our annual conference.

Membership Categories

Drainage District Membership

  • Active Drainage Districts – For drainage districts only.  The commissioners of each district have voting privileges including the election of the board of directors.  Annual dues are based on the district’s acreage and have not been raised since the IADD was formed in 1995! $0.03/acre [$50 for districts under 1700 acres]

						Associate Membership			

  • Associate Membership Membership $100 – Businesses and Organizations who share a common interest in protecting the integrity of drainage rights.  This category also includes those providing services and support to the drainage industry.
Associate Membership for Drainage Attorneys
  •  Associate Membership for Drainage Attorneys $100 – Attorneys who represent drainage districts.
Individual Membership
  • Individual Membership $50 – Landowners who share the same goals and support the activities of the IADD.
